NFL and social media using visual marketing
The NFL started using social media 20 years ago. The use of social media caused a huge impact on the organization and helped it to grow as a business. But how does social media work for them? They use these tools to create a community. The first interaction is for player-to-player, and the second is for the fans, who can interact with the players, making them feel part of the game and sports life.
The NFL uses various channels to interact with its fans, such as Instagram. Players use this platform to share stories and posts about their training, games, and private life by sharing content with their fans and interacting with them through comments. Other platforms they use are Tik Tok and Twitter. The players and the organization use these channels to thank their fans for their support and for making challenges for fans. The players and the NFL use social media to share with the world about the charities they support. Also, they record games, and the highlights are shared on the internet, and anyone can watch those shorts within seconds that happened (Novy, 2022). Considering the broad range that social media has, any business must grow, and the NFL has taken full advantage of it.
The NFL also creates platforms, such as NFL Mobile, Network Watch, NFL Now, and Game Pass, to keep its fans aware of all its benefits and add new features to its fans. The purpose of these platforms is to stream games. Consequently, consumers and the brand would be able to build a trusting relationship. In addition to regularly publishing content, the company will offer customers brand-new experiences (Colman, 2020).
