Social media and NFL recruitment
According to Gamble (2016) nowadays, social networks play an important role in people's lives. Research shows that visual marketing through social networks generates more profit for companies. In the sports industry, each company uses different visual marketing strategies on diverse social network platforms implementing multiple communication elements and thus achieving sponsorship of athletes.
For example, NFL uses Facebook to film live session tryouts in universities, and small clubs to recruit new players, also this platform is used by some coaches to seek new talent. (Abeza, et al. 2019).
